IN MY BOOK, "Let The Church Say Amen", I start by sharing my innocence; the naive version of me who didn’t know what life would bring. But as the story unfolds, I also have to face and share some decisions I made that I’m not proud of… moments that once brought me shame. HONESTLY - I could have left those parts out, it would’ve been easier. It would’ve been cleaner. It would’ve been more “acceptable. ”But the truth is, HEALING requires TRUTH, from the most inward part…Too often, especially in CHRISTIANITY, we highlight the victory and hide the struggle. We shout about being delivered, but whisper about what we needed deliverance from. So when I wrote this book, I made a decision to tell the whole truth, because I believe every woman (person) reading this will see herself / themselves somewhere in my story....Proud of the woman I used to be, because she survived… and even more proud of the woman I am now, because God transformed her.My only desire is to please God & Serving Him is my permanent posture!
